Aspirus Medford Hospital issued the following announcement on May 10.

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital Auxiliary is holding its annual used-book sale after a two-year hiatus. The one-day book sale takes place June 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Annes Heritage Center in Calumet.

“We are very excited to bring this sale back to the community,” said Beth Maki, vice president of the Aspirus Keweenaw Auxiliary. “This is a great community event because this sale attracts people from our entire community.”

The Auxiliary will use proceeds from the sale to enhance the patient experience at Aspirus Keweenaw.

The Auxiliary is welcoming donations of gently used books, board games, puzzles, DVDs, CDs and other items for the sale through May 20. For more information or to donate, contact Volunteer Services at 906.337.6541.
