Camp Manito-Wish YMCA: 6-Day Family Camp

Start:

July 17 @ 2:00 pm

End:

July 22 @ 9:00 am

If you’re looking for a way to unplug with family, spend time with friends and experience the many activities and traditions of Camp Manito-wish YMCA, Family Camp is the place to be. Camp Manito-wish, located in Boulder Junction, has been in operation since 1919. Family Camp is a time when Camp is open to all ages, from young toddlers to octogenarian. Whether your family and friends are first time campers or have visited Camp over the decades, this is sure to be an experience of fun and family growth.

Participants have the option of a 4-day or 6-day experience which includes living on site in a cabin, eating great meals in the historic Nash Lodge, spending time participating in a variety of activities, sharing their talents at the Camp show or simply unwinding beside an evening campfire or enjoying the night sky in the gorgeous Northwoods setting on Boulder Lake.

This summer, Family Camp will be held on July 12-15 (4-day session) and July 17-22 (6-day session).

Each session gives Manito-wish Family Campers the opportunity to enjoy all the activities that our youth campers enjoy during the summer camp sessions, with instruction offered in most areas. Each day, a variety of activities will be offered in the morning, afternoon and evening, all of which are optional, and free time to explore the property is available as well. Participants will enjoy several waterfront activities on Boulder Lake including canoeing, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming. On land activities include biking, tennis, a high ropes challenge course, archery, a climbing wall, riflery, and arts & crafts projects. There are even overnight and day-trip canoe adventures to Sunset, an iconic Summer Camp campsite.

The cost to participate in 4-day Family Camp is $520 per adult, $280 per child ages 3-12 years old and no charge for children under 3. There is a cabin minimum $2,160 per family. The cost to participate in 6-day Family Camp is $770 adult, $410 child per child ages 3-12 years old and no charge for children under 3. There is a cabin minimum $3,180 per family.
