The Boulder Junction Public Library invites you to attend Movie Matinees this winter. Movies will be shown on select Tuesdays at 3 pm with discussion to follow. All movies are FREE to the public and will be shown on the big screen in the Boulder Lake meeting room in the Boulder Junction Community Center. Complimentary fresh-popped popcorn from Mad Dog Jakes and lemonade will be served.
Movie Matinee for Tuesday, January 24 is the 1985 comedy, Spies Like Us. Two misfit low-level CIA agents are turned into decoys by their superiors and sent to Pakistan to distract Soviet agents from discovering the genuine American spies in the area. However, the two bumbling buddies end up making more of a difference in the cold war than anyone expects. Starring Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Terry Gilliam, Donna Dixon, and Bruce Davison. Directed by John Landis. The movie is rated PG and is 109 minutes in length.
