Work with your hands to create something unique and beautiful through collage art. You will learn the art of arranging flat materials in an aesthetically pleasing way. You will be guided when you need it, but each piece will be unique. A choice of papers will be provided for each person.
“AirHeart” Abstract Cruciform Collage
We will create an abstract collage art piece using the “cruciform,” which means cross-shaped. It is a simple way to create a dynamic design. This frees us up to play with color and texture. We will use deconstructed book pages, sheet music and other paper sources. You will learn how use special mediums to create texture and learn how to blend paint on the canvas. Finished piece is a 12×12 board
