Conover Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
JANUARY 15, 2022, 1-4 P.M. – NATURE ADVENTURE – BEGINNER XC SKI AT ANVIL SKI TRAILS
It’s a New Year, try new things, like XC skiing! Not only is it a great way to make the best of our long snowy season, it’s good for you too! Basic lessons will be held on campus followed by a trip to try out your new skills at the Anvil National Recreation Trail. No experience is required. Let us help you get started to see if you find a new love for this silent sport. Ski equipment is available for rental in a variety of sizes starting with European boot size 33. Ages 5 and up. $15 per person.
