There were 544 students enrolled in Hurley School District in the 2024-25 school year, 2.9% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 52.4% identified themselves as boys, 47.6% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 90.8% of the Hurley School District total enrollment.

Hurley School District covers two schools within Iron County, with its main office in Hurley.

Among the two schools in the district, Hurley High School recorded the highest enrollment of 309 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
