Accepting Applications for a Public Works II position
The City of Merrill is seeking applications from qualified individuals for a Public Works II position in the Street Department. This position will operate Street Department machinery and equipment, and perform other public works related laboring tasks.
The successful candidate is expected to learn all phases of Street operations. There will be some required weekend duties and some overtime work for weather related incidents. Preference will be given to applicants with prior related experience. Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL or be able to obtain it within 6 months.
The salary range is $18.20 – $23.40/hr. with excellent benefits.
Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., Friday January 8, 2021. Background check, physical exam, and drug screening will be conducted prior to employment.
