Often seen as just big puddles in the woods, vernal pools (“temporary ponds”) are teeming with life! Come learn about the importance of vernal pools, and all the unique critters that live in them.
Discover on Demand is an environmental education series provided by the North Lakeland Discovery Center program staff. On the first of every month through May we will post a pre-recorded lecture on a different environmental topic relevant to the Northwoods. This program is about 35 minutes long and is great for teens and adults. There are multiple price levels, please choose whichever level is right for you. All proceeds go to supporting environmental education and inspiring an ethic of care for Wisconsin’s Northwoods.
Register any time, and you will receive an email from Licia on April 1 before 10 am with the link to view the program. You will have access to, and be able to view the program as many times as you would like until April 8.
