Merrill City Clerk Lincoln County WI issued the following on Dec. 30
Continued Closure of City Hall and other City Facilities
Merrill City Hall, and other City facilities, will maintain their current closure status through at least January 18, 2021. See the Mayoral declaration below. City Offices are open by appointment only. Property taxes may continue to be paid via mail or the drop box outside of City Hall.
Given that our health experts at both the federal and county level are anticipating a spike in COVID cases around January 14th and given that our county case activity currently sits at “very high” according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, I am declaring the extension of the closure of city hall and other facilities for at least another two weeks, until January 18, 2021, at which time the situation will be re-assessed.
