Minocqua J1 School District Education: 512 students were enrolled in schools in 2024-25 school year

There were 512 students enrolled in Minocqua J1 School District in the 2024-25 school year, 8.7% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.4% identified themselves as boys, 49.6% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 85.6% of the Minocqua J1 School District total enrollment.

Minocqua J1 School District covers three schools within Oneida County, with its main office in Minocqua.

Among the three schools in the district, Minocqua Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 506 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
