There were 2,295 students enrolled in Rhinelander School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.1% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 52.3% identified themselves as boys, 47.7% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 88.9% of the Rhinelander School District total enrollment.

Rhinelander School District covers seven schools within Oneida County, with its main office in Rhinelander.

Among the seven schools in the district, Rhinelander High School recorded the highest enrollment of 757 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
